Esports tournament organiser StarLadder has named Monster Energy as the title partner of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

Throughout the season-ending Counter-Strike 2 tournament, the energy drink brand’s logo has featured in broadcast segments along with branded fridges containing drinks appearing at the side of the stage.

Publicly announced during Stage 3’s third round, Monster Energy’s branding has featured heavily throughout the duration of the event, which began on November 24th.

In addition to its logo featuring across the broadcast, the energy drink brand sponsors the event’s Monster Moments highlight package shown during matches.

The collaboration between the two parties is Monster Energy’s latest esports venture. In June, the brand partnered with North American esports organisation OpTic Gaming to collaborate on content creation and event activations.

“Monster Energy has a long and influential legacy in Counter-Strike, and it’s a great honour for us to announce them as the title sponsor of the StarLadder Budapest Major,” said Andrew Yatsenko, Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at StarLadder.

“Their drive, energy, and commitment to esports align perfectly with our vision for this event, and we are excited to deliver an unforgettable Major experience for players and fans worldwide.”

Taking place from November 24th to December 14th, the StarLadder Budapest Major is the final event of the 2025 Counter-Strike esports calendar. 32 teams from across the world are competing in the Hungarian capital to etch their names into the history books alongside winning a share of a $1.25m (~£938,087) prize pool.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Partners

Monster Energy is one of several partners supporting the Budapest Major. In addition to the energy drink brand, the likes of mobility accessory manufacturer Berg Special Products and gaming furniture manufacturer Blacklyte are among several companies running initiatives.

Counter-Strike’s Majors often attract notable brands as partners. With Monster Energy’s long-standing efforts in esports, it’s no surprise to see the brand supporting another high-profile event.
