
BLAST has announced a multi-year partnership with Supercell to operate the Brawl Stars esports ecosystem from 2026 onwards.
As a result, the tournament operator will launch a global calendar for Brawl Stars with a $2m (~£1.49m) total prize pool, along with expanded live studio broadcasts.
BLAST said in a release that it will be delivering 32 broadcast days, along with an elevated broadcast and arena programme. It will also have a new studio environment for Brawl Stars esports.
“This multi-year commitment enables us to innovate around formats, storytelling, standalone live events and broadcast – driving a new era of entertainment for players and fans worldwide,” said Leo Matlock, Chief Business Officer for BLAST.
“Furthermore, we are excited to enhance the commercial opportunities around Brawl Stars esports for brands, media and destinations to benefit from.”
Since 2020, ESL has been the primary operator of Brawl Stars esports events. In fact, in 2024, ESL and Supercell announced a multi-year partnership to bring the Brawl Stars Championship under the Snapdragon Pro Series.
The Brawl Stars World Finals 2025, held at DreamHack Stockholm, wrapped on November 30th with Crazy Raccoon taking down defending champions, HMBLE, in the grand finals. The tournament recorded a peak viewership of 211,175, per Esports Charts, a sharp drop from the previous edition, which had 1.1m peak viewers.
Brawl Stars Championship 2026 Details
BLAST will continue with the Brawl Stars Championship ecosystem, which was launched in 2020 and is now open to 190 countries around the world.
Similar to last year, the ecosystem will be split across five regions: EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), NA (North America), South America, APAC (Asia Pacific) and the Chinese Mainland.
Based on the announcement, the format for the Brawl Stars Championship will also remain similar to past editions, as announced.
For 2026, the calendar will be split into two splits: Spring and Summer. The Spring Split will culminate with the Brawl Cup, scheduled for May 2026.
The Summer Split, on the other hand, will conclude with the Last Chance Qualifier LAN. This will be the final chance for teams to qualify for the 2026 Brawl Stars World Finals.
