Thai esports organisation FULL SENSE has won the 2025 PUBG Global Championship (PGC) at the PUBG UNITED 2025 festival.

The crowning event of the PUBG Global Series took place in FULL SENSE’s home region, Thailand, and ran from November 28th to December 14th, 2025. Coming in as the tournament’s Wild Card, the squad bested 32 other teams to claim a lion’s share of the $1.5m (~£1.12m) prize pool.

What Happened at PGC 2025?

Despite competing on home soil, FULL SENSE was up against fierce competition. Last year’s PGC champion, The Expendables, in particular, topped Group A during the Group Stage with 157 points. In the second group, Team Falcons soared ahead of the competition after acquiring 160 points in the first stage of the tournament.

FULL SENSE was the Wild Card of the tournament, a team invited to compete through special conditions. In this case, the representative of the PGC 2025 host region, Thailand, automatically secured a place in the championship’s Grand Finals.

The team competed in 18 matches across three days, where it aimed to outlast the opposition while securing as many eliminations as possible. FULL SENSE did not disappoint, claiming four first-place wins out of the 18 games played.

FULL SENSE in the Grand Finals

The Thai team began its PGC Grand Finals run by placing third in games one and three, and pulled ahead of the competition after winning game four.

With teams like NAVI and Virtus.pro hot on its heels, Full Sense faltered in the next two games, placing bttom (16th) in game five. However, the team bounced back with two first-place wins in games seven and nine, even securing fifteen eliminations in one round.

FULL SENSE would claim its final first-place win in game 13, allowing other rosters such as NAVI and Team Falcons to close the gap in the games that followed. However, despite faltering in the final four games of the tournament, where it placed as low as 14th in game 15, FULL SENSE ended its run victorious with a total of 155 points.

In second place was Virtus.pro with 129 points, while NAVI claimed the bronze medal with 128 points.

As the PGC 2025 champions, FULL SENSE left the competition with $500,000 in winnings. On the other hand, last year’s champions, The Expendables, recorded a disappointing performance, placing 15th out of the 16 teams that competed in the Grand Finals.
