Mansur Abdul-Malik had one heck of a UFC debut.
At UFC Vegas 100 on Saturday, Abdul-Malik made his first appearance in the promotion after signing from the most recent season of Contender Series and the undefeated prospect showed why fans were so excited about his debut as he molly-whopped Dusko Todorovic in the first round.
Known for his explosive power, Abdul-Malik put that on display against Todorovic early who dropped to the ground to pursue a leg-lock on the inexperienced fighter. That plan didn’t bear fruit though as Abdul-Malik thumped him with big punches from standing, forcing Todorovic to get back to his feet. Things didn’t get better for him there though as Andul-Malik landing a beautiful knee that floored Todorovic and follow-up ground-and-pound sealed the deal.
The win moved Abdul-Malik to 7-0 in his professional career, with six knockouts and one submission.
