French esports organisation Karmine Corp has announced that it will not proceed with a VALORANT academy roster in 2026.

As a result, the organisation will be exiting VALORANT Challengers France, and its entire roster has been let go.

As an academy team, Karmine Corp Blue Stars was not eligible to qualify for the Ascension tournament; however, the roster showcased a decent performance throughout the 2025 season.

Though the team couldn’t secure first place, it finished second at VALORANT Challengers France: Revolution Stage 2, which earned it a spot at VALORANT Challengers EMEA: Stage 2.

“We will not have a VALORANT academy in 2026 and are therefore leaving the VALORANT Challengers France,” announced Karmine Corp.

“Thanks to the players as well as the coaching staff for this great season, we wish you every success in your future endeavours.”

The exact reason for this decision has not been revealed by the French organisation.

One of the team’s former players, Baptiste ‘Yohpa‘ Khoury, shared on social media: “I really would have loved to continue the adventure with KC in 2026, but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible.

“It’s obviously a disappointment, because I wanted to represent these colours again and push the project further, but I’m leaving with my head held high and a lot of gratitude for everything this experience has brought me.”

Karmine Corp’s VCT Roster for 2026

Karmine Corp has recently released Artur ‘pyrolll‘ Minin from its starting VCT roster; however, his replacement has not yet been revealed. In addition, Matias ‘Saadhak‘ Delipetro is not listed as part of the team, according to the official VALORANT Champions Tour Contract Database.

So far, here is the list of players confirmed to be part of Karmine Corp in 2026:

  • Martin ‘marteen’ PĂĄtek
  • Hazem ‘avez’ Khaled
  • Dmitrii ‘SUYGETSU’ Iliushin

Fans can expect announcements regarding new signings soon. The Off//Season is already halfway through, and the new players will need time to practise before the start of the next VCT season.
