FURIA has won the BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 title after defeating Team Falcons in the final Counter-Strike 2 tournament before the Major.

The victory is the third Tier 1 event win for the Brazilian esports organisation, as FURIA continues to cement its place among the world’s best teams.

FURIA’s Form Continues

Heading into BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 following its victory at IEM Chengdu 2025, FURIA was one of several teams in contention to lift the final Tier 1 trophy before the StarLadder Budapest Major.

The international roster began its group stage campaign on the front foot, defeating PaiN Gaming 2-1 to earn its place in the winner’s match against Team Vitality. FURIA’s strong defence shone on Nuke, taking a 13-11 win over the French organisation.

Team Vitality responded in overtime on Overpass with a 16-13 win to force a decider on Inferno. FURIA demonstrated excellent attacking coordination to break through the Team Vitality defence, earning an 8-4 lead at the end of the first half. The second half saw FURIA’s defence come to the forefront, conceding one round in the second half to take Inferno 13-5 to wrap up a 2-1 series victory and secure a place in the playoffs.

PaiN Gaming would face off against FURIA for a second time in the semi-final. The top team from November’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS) dominated Nuke with a 13-3 scoreline before closing out the series on Overpass with a 16-12 win to complete a 2-0 sweep.

A Team Falcons Face Off

Joining FURIA in the Grand Final was Team Falcons, a team that managed to sweep aside Team Vitality in the semi-finals. The Falcons began the Grand Final with total domination. A 13-3 win on Inferno put FURIA on the back foot immediately.

FURIA answered back with a strong attacking display on Nuke, levelling the series with a 13-9 scoreline. Double overtime on Train was required to separate two of Counter-Strike’s top teams. AWPer Danil ‘molodoy’ Golubenko played a pivotal role in swinging rounds in FURIA’s favour. Two quad kills in overtime proved the difference, taking Train 19-15 to put FURIA within one map of lifting another trophy.

Team Falcons began Mirage with the early lead, but molodoy’s AWPing on the defensive half overturned the deficit, giving FURIA a 7-5 lead at halftime. Team Falcons continued to hold its own to force another overtime, but FURIA held firm to win Mirage 19-16 and secure a 3-1 series victory.

For FURIA, victory in Hong Kong puts the team in a strong position heading into the Major, which is set to be one of the most competitive Counter-Strike events in the CS2 era.

While Team Falcons missed out on another trophy, its second-place finish continues to demonstrate the team’s consistency as it looks to end 2025 on a high note.
