Brazilian esports organisation FURIA has held its place at the top of the global Valve Regional Standings (VRS) for December 2025, after reaching the top in November.

The December VRS will be used to determine 28 of the 32 teams competing in BLAST Bounty Season 3, the first Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 tournament of 2026.

FURIA remaining at the top of the December VRS comes as a result of the team’s three victories at the Thunderpick World Championship, IEM Chengdu 2025, and BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 throughout October and November.

The international roster knocked The MongolZ off the top spot in November, which drops to sixth in the global standings following the addition of Unudelger ‘Controlez’ Baasanjargal as a temporary stand-in until the end of 2025.

December’s global standings see several teams move up and down the order, with GamerLegion dropping outside of the top 20 and Team Falcons moving into second place ahead of Team Vitality.

Elsewhere, the Chinese side of TYLOO has made significant strides towards the top 20 once again, climbing 17 places from 38th to 21st after dropping out of the top 20 last month. The FISSURE Playground 1 champions reached a peak of ninth in September’s standings.

With BLAST Bounty Season 3 not taking place until January, the December standings offer fans insight into the form of the remaining teams competing at the StarLadder Budapest Major, which is preparing to enter Stage 3.
