Not all free spins are created equal. A “100 free spins” headline can be worth less than “20 wager-free spins” once you factor in spin value and wagering. Our free Free Spins Value Calculator reveals the real cash worth of any offer in seconds.

Work out the true cash value of a free spins offer and the wagering on any winnings.
"Wager-free" / "cash spins" (winnings wagering = 0x) are the best value — winnings are real cash. Expected return is a statistical average over many spins, not a guarantee. 18+ | begambleaware.org.
How free spins value really works
Two numbers decide what a free spins offer is actually worth: the value per spin (often just £0.10) and the wagering requirement on anything you win. A pile of spins with high wagering can be worth far less than a handful of wager-free spins that pay real, withdrawable cash.
The inputs explained
- Number of free spins – the quantity advertised.
- Value per spin – the stake per spin set by the casino, usually £0.10–£0.20.
- Slot RTP – the game’s Return to Player percentage; higher RTP returns more over time.
- Winnings wagering – how many times you must bet your winnings before withdrawing. Set this to 0 for wager-free / cash spins.
Headline value vs expected return
The headline value is simply spins × value per spin. The expected return adjusts that by the slot’s RTP to estimate what you’d statistically get back over many spins. Neither is a guarantee — slot variance means real results swing widely — but it’s the fairest way to compare two offers.
Why wager-free spins win
Since the UK’s 10x wagering cap (effective 19 January 2026), wagering is gentler across the board — but wager-free spins remain the gold standard because winnings are paid as real cash you can withdraw immediately. When comparing, also check the max win cap and which slots qualify.
